Recover Faster.
Hurt Less. Live More.

Helping athletes, active adults, and people of all ages recover from injury, reduce pain, rebuild strength and mobility, and return to the activities they love through personalized, non-invasive recovery therapies.

Welcome to Restore Lab

At Restore Lab, we help people recover, move with less pain, and get back to the life they enjoy. Whether that means returning to a sport, keeping up with family, staying active as you age, or simply moving through the day more comfortably, our goal is to help your body heal and perform at its best.

Our services are designed for people recovering from injury, managing recurring joint or muscle pain, rebuilding after overuse, or looking for better recovery between workouts and everyday activities. We offer a personal, self-pay experience with clear recommendations, no insurance billing, and no one-size-fits-all treatment plans.

Meet Tom and Liz

Restore Lab was founded by Tom and Liz Cornish, a husband-and-wife team who understand both the athletic and clinical sides of recovery. Their shared goal is to create a welcoming place where people can receive thoughtful guidance, advanced recovery therapies, and the encouragement they need to keep moving forward.

Tom is an experienced competitive runner, cyclist, and hiker who has logged thousands of miles across the country. He understands the frustration of soreness, injury, and training setbacks, as well as the determination it takes to return safely to the next run, ride, hike, or event. Tom is certified and trained in SoftWave, Red Light, and Compression Therapy, bringing an athlete-focused perspective and firsthand appreciation for the recovery process.

Liz is a practicing Physical Therapist with more than 35 years of experience helping people recover from injury, restore mobility, and remain independent. Before beginning her healthcare career, she competed as a gymnast at a high level through college. That athletic background, combined with decades of clinical experience, gives Liz a practical understanding of performance, rehabilitation, mobility, and healthy aging. She also enjoys hiking, biking, and running with her family and is certified and trained in SoftWave, Red Light, and Compression Therapy.

Together, Tom and Liz created Restore Lab to help athletes, active adults, and older adults recover more effectively, stay mobile, and continue doing the things that give their lives energy and meaning.

Why Work With Us

  • Experience You Can Trust

We combine more than 35 years of Physical Therapy experience with real-world backgrounds in gymnastics, endurance running, cycling, hiking, and active living. We understand how pain and injury can interrupt training, independence, and everyday life.

  • Personalized Care

Every person, injury, and recovery goal is different. We take time to understand what is limiting you, what you want to return to, and which therapy or combination of therapies may best support your recovery.

  • Modern, Non-Invasive Therapies

Our services are designed to support healing, circulation, pain relief, and recovery without surgery, injections, or medication. Each therapy is delivered with certified training, careful screening, and practical guidance.

  • Focused on Getting You Back

Our goal is not simply to help you feel better for a day. We want to help you move more comfortably, recover with confidence, and return to your sport, workout routine, outdoor activities, or daily life.

SoftWave Therapy

SoftWave Therapy is our signature service for joint, muscle, tendon, and tissue pain. A handheld treatment wand delivers acoustic waves to the painful or injured area, helping stimulate the body’s natural repair response. It may be a good option for people dealing with stubborn pain, overuse injuries, tendon problems, reduced mobility, or injuries that have not fully healed. Sessions are brief, non-invasive, and require no downtime.

Red Light Therapy

Red Light Therapy uses gentle red and near-infrared light to support the body’s recovery process. Many clients use it to ease soreness and stiffness, support muscle and tissue recovery, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness. Sessions are comfortable and relaxing, with no downtime. It can be used on its own or as part of a broader recovery plan for athletes, active adults, and people who want to stay mobile and feel their best.

Compression Therapy

Compression Therapy uses inflatable sleeves that gently squeeze and release around the legs or other treatment areas. The rhythmic pressure helps support circulation, reduce swelling, ease tired or heavy legs, and improve recovery after exercise, travel, long days on your feet, or demanding activity. Many clients simply relax during the session and leave feeling lighter, refreshed, and better prepared for their next workout or day of activity.
